Judges Show Awards

The Judge may award the following to dog exhibiting.  The American Rare Breed Association unlike other venues do not award championships based on the number of dog's in the competition.  The basic reason for not requiring multiple dogs in the ring in order for the dog to awarded points toward a championship.  Our dogs are judged against the breed standard for the breed.


Possible awards the judge can award!

Classes

  • 3 to 6 Month for Dogs & Bitches

  • 6 to 9 Month for Dogs & Bitches

  • 9 to 15 Month for Dogs and Bitches

  • Bred By Exhibitor

  • American Breed

  • Open

  • Best O f Breed

3 to 6 Month Class

This class is for dogs and bitches at leat 3 months of age and under 6 months of age on the day of the show.  This is the first class the will be judged for each breed.  The possible awards for the class judging for both the dog and the bitch are the following: 

  • First Place
  • Second Place
  • Third Place
  • Fourth Place

After all of the dogs and bitches have been judged then the first class dog and the first class bitch will compete for the following ribbon:

  • Best Of Breed
  • Best Of Opposite sex.

After all of the breeds in the Group have been judged and awarded Best Of Breed the Group competition will begin and the awards that can be awarded are the following:

  • Group One
  • Group Two
  • Group Three
  • Group Four

After all of the Groups have been judged and awarded the Best In Show competition will be take place.  All of the Group One winners are eligible to compete for Best In Show Jr. Puppy and the judge will award the following awards:

  • Best In Show Jr. Puppy
  • Best In Show Runner-Up Jr. puppy.
